چکیده

Abstract Background Redo surgery for anorectal anomalies (ARA) may be considered a special category of reconstructive with less predictable outcomes. In this report, we studied anatomical derangements in group boys following previously complicated PSARP procedure, addition to the effect reoperation on rectifying distorted anatomy. Results The study included 27 who were re-operated after previous PSARP. Included cases divided into two groups: A (14 cases) was referred before colostomy closure an obviously primary operation, and B (13 delayed complications closure. Pelvic MRI examinations performed 19 cases. nine these cases, repeat examination at follow-up redo Abnormal wide angle pelvic hiatus common An important goal reconstruction levator ani behind anorectum trying create more acute narrower hiatus. success corrective step evaluated by comparing pre- postoperative measurements that showed favourable decrease values hiatal/PC ratio. Improvement faecal continence documented 8 out 10 B. Conclusion frequently encountered postsurgical complication failed has most probably resulted from poor floor time repair. Re-approximation split halves midline can help correct internal anatomy improve bowel control

Anterior segment and fundus examination were unremarkable. T1 and T2 weighted MRI imag...
